Adrienne knows the leap from corporate life to business ownership firsthand, because she made it herself.

After years in corporate management, she stepped out on her own and never looked back. Over her career she has owned three businesses, working as both a franchisee and a licensee. One of those ventures was a business opportunity, which she built and successfully exited. That experience taught her something she now shares with every client: there's more than one path to ownership, and the right one depends on the person.

That's why her work always starts with you, not a brand. Before talking about franchises or business models, Adrienne helps people get clear on their strengths, values, lifestyle, financial goals, and vision for the future. Then she helps them weigh the options honestly, whether that means a franchise, a business opportunity, consulting, starting something independent, staying in corporate, or deciding the timing isn't right yet.

Today she's an award-winning franchise strategist who has spent 20+ years guiding thousands of executives, including those she affectionately calls "Corporate Exiles," through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

Adrienne has also lived the freedom ownership can create. She spent more than six years living aboard a boat, cruising America's Great Loop, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.

Meet Your Co-Host: Maria Rogers

Maria knows what it feels like to stand at the edge of business ownership and wonder if you've really got what it takes, because she's been there more than once.

Entrepreneurship runs in her family. Her mom started and sold several businesses and was Maria's first business partner. That first venture was modeled after a franchise but built from scratch to avoid fees and royalties. Maria learned quickly that she paid those costs anyway, just without the systems and playbook a franchise provides. Her next business was a success, but it taught her another hard lesson: she had bought herself a job, not a business.

Then she found franchising, and everything clicked. As a multi-unit franchisee, Maria owned seven locations across two brands, and her locations consistently ranked in the top tier of a system of nearly 600 units. Over 20+ years, she has built ten businesses and successfully exited five.

Today she's an award-winning franchise broker who has spent seven years helping people find the right fit across 100's of franchise brands. Her background as a longtime coach shapes how she works: honest and practical, with a real belief in what people are capable of.

When she isn't helping future owners find their path, Maria is at home in the Charlotte area as a wife, mom, and proud grammy of two.
